For 30 years, Platinum has been strongly committed to the success of chiropractors around the world. The team at Platinum is passionate about not just what they have to offer, but what their clients have to offer the world.
“We believe in the power of chiropractic care,” said Platinum CEO Christian Mathieu. “We launched this scholarship because we want to support the next generation of chiropractors.”
Five students will receive $1,000 scholarships to the chiropractic school of their choice. The scholarship is open to students at any stage of their education, as long as they are enrolled in or accepted into a chiropractic college.
Students must demonstrate a commitment to the chiropractic industry and passion for their chosen profession.
A recent survey of Platinum’s clients in the chiropractic industry revealed that while the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the average number of patients, it has also sparked an interest in health and wellness. People are discovering that chiropractic care is about more than just alignment of the spine — it’s about the health of the whole body. Because of that, most chiropractors surveyed were optimistic about the future of the industry.
The American Chiropractic Association estimates that 35 million people visit a chiropractor annually. To become a chiropractor, students must attend an accredited, four-year doctoral graduate school and spend 4,200 hours in the classroom, laboratory and clinical internship.
“The time and energy that go into completing the program is admirable,” Mathieu said. “We hope that this scholarship helps chiropractic students achieve their goals and ease some of the financial burden.”
Applications for the scholarship are being accepted from Sept. 21, 2020 - Nov. 20, 2020.
